Tasca Baracán

Tasca Baracán is a wonderful bar-restaurant serving Canarian food , cosy and with a great variety , in the town of El Palmar, in the municipality of Buenavista del Norte.

It is located at the foot of the main road to El Palmar, where it is not difficult to find parking. A great place surrounded by nature and with magnificent views .

On their varied menu you can find starters such as watercress stew, cheeses, salads, escaldón, chickpeas, mushrooms, croquettes, hake sandwiches, blood sausage, garlic prawns… Cod loin as a fish option . Meat dishes such as fiesta meat, goat meat, chicken breast or escalope… And grilled meats such as sirloins and steaks.

They make delicious homemade desserts , such as quesillo, biscuit cake, lemon mousse, fig and raisin ice cream…

They offer house wine served in bulk, fruity red and white, from independent winemakers in the area, which are usually very tasty and have a very good reputation.

The establishment has a very cosy and clean dining room , as well as a small covered outdoor terrace with a few tables. The service is quite good, as is the quality and preparation of the dishes.

The prices are adequate, very consistent with the quality of the food and the quantity served in the well-sized portions .
