Guachinche Francis

Description

Guachinche Francis is a traditional restaurant located on Paseo El Parque (Santa Catalina neighborhood), within the municipality of La Guancha.

True to the nature of this type of establishment, its activity is concentrated exclusively on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). It usually has a large number of customers, and parking must be done on nearby public streets, as it does not have a private parking lot.

The restaurant is located in an interior dining room on the ground floor of a house, although there are some tables in front of it, like an outdoor terrace  where you can also bring your pet.

As a good traditional guachinche, its menu is very small, offering 3 or 4 varieties of dishes, among which it is common to find carne fiesta, ropa vieja, salted fish with sweet potatoes… also the yam is in high demand, although its availability is subject to production.

They don’t usually offer desserts.

Their wine is from their own harvest and is usually a fruity white wine.

The portions are generous, and the price is very reasonable. Plus, you can pay by bank card.

The service is very fast and efficient; they are usually attentive to everything.

If you fancy an authentic, traditional guachinche, without frills, with homegrown white wine, simple but delicious and plentiful food, at good prices, where you also have the convenience of paying by card, Guachinche Francis is a great option in La Guancha, which is also easy to reach by car.
