Restaurante Donde Francisca is a restaurant serving home-cooked food, mainly Canarian, located in the town of El Ortigal, on the border of the municipalities of Tacoronte and San Cristóbal de La Laguna.

This is a large family home whose lower floor has been converted into a restaurant, with a large living-dining room , an outdoor terrace and a small private parking area on the land that is also part of the house.

Their menu is extensive, with a large variety of dishes of all kinds. For example, as starters they offer various types of salads, escaldón, scrambled eggs, chickpeas and fabada, cheeses, fried eggs, croquettes, Russian salad… They have soups and also spoon dishes , such as lentils, beans, ranch, peas… In fish you will find dishes such as octopus, squid, cuttlefish, salmon, cod, squid… And in meat they prepare various types of sirloin, chicken, chops, steaks, sausages, goat meat, meat in sauce…

Not only is the selection extensive, but the portions are generous , all the food is very tasty, and the prices of each dish are quite reasonable.

During the week they offer menus for both adults and children , with first and second courses and more than twenty options to choose from.

The desserts on offer are also outstanding. They are homemade and you can find Uruguayan polvito, quesillo, flan, tiramisu, cakes, as well as ice cream.

As for wines, they offer both white and red, both house-made and served in bulk. Without being excellent, they are quite acceptable, and produced by local and independent producers from the northern part of the island.
