Guachinche El Matraca is a traditional guachinche serving typical Canarian food and grilled meats in the heart of La Matanza de Acentejo.

It is a spacious and welcoming place with an outdoor terrace and an indoor dining room, which can accommodate both families and small groups.

There is a small private car park for customers. If the car park is full, you will also find several parking areas on the streets in the area.

As starters you can find cheeses, salad, escaldón, ensaladilla, sweet potato with almogrote, meat with potatoes, fiesta meat, croquettes, cuttlefish, ropa vieja, chickpeas… Fish dishes such as squid, octopus, cuttlefish… Grilled meats such as chicken, chops, steaks, sirloins or secreto.

They make homemade desserts , such as quesillo, polvito uruguayo, mango mousse… depending on the season and available products.

They offer house wine served in bulk, from independent producers in the northern part of the island, both red and fruity white.

Both the portions and the prices of their dishes are typical for this type of establishment.

The waiters are friendly and offer good service , nice, attentive and willing to help.
