Description

El Guachinche El Fonil , also known as Pedro “the grandfather” , is a traditional guachinche serving typical Canarian food and grilled meats located in the municipality of Santa Úrsula.

It is located on an old estate, surrounded by vineyards and farmland in a beautiful rural setting.

Their menu is simple but complete, and you can find starters such as chicken soup, Canarian ranch, cheese, salad, chickpeas, fabada, croquettes, breaded mushrooms… Fish dishes such as cod with onions or stewed. And grilled meats such as roast chicken, chops, T-bone steaks, steaks and sirloins.

They make homemade desserts such as quesillo, polvito canario, chocolate mousse. Some very unusual ones are their trademark, such as the red wine mousse or sponge cake and pineapple dessert.

They have house wine, produced by themselves, both red and fruity white.

Its spacious dining rooms allow for the celebration of events such as baptisms, communions, birthdays, business lunches, lunches for groups of friends, etc.

The portions are quite generous and the prices very reasonable. The service from both the owners and the waiters is great, friendly, helpful and attentive.

El Guachinche El Fonil is a well-known and reputable establishment, an ideal place if you like grilled meats and chickens, good Canarian food at a good price.
