Tasca Restaurante Emilio y Mar is a family establishment with the air of an authentic traditional guachinche serving Canarian food and home-produced wine.

It is located in Santa Úrsula, in the Corujera neighborhood, an area with a tradition of guachinches.

The restaurant is a high-ceilinged room on the ground floor of a family home, decorated in a very austere and simple way. There is no private parking, but there are usually parking spaces on public roads in the area.

On their menu you can find starters and dishes to share such as grilled cheese, escaldón, salad, chickpeas, croquettes, roasted peppers… Meat dishes such as pork offal, fiesta meat, goat meat, discarded meat… Some fish options, such as salted fish. And grilled meats such as chops, steaks, T-bone steaks, bichillo, entrecote, chicken…

They make some delicious homemade desserts every day , such as quesillo or various types of cakes.

The house red wine is home-grown, and the fruity white is usually from Vidueño wineries or other winegrowers. Both are served in bulk and are usually very tasty.

The service from the owners and staff is very good, very friendly, attentive, willing to help, adapt and make you feel at home.

They accept reservations and small events such as baptisms, communions, birthdays, meetings with friends or business…

The portion sizes are considerable, and the price of the dishes is very affordable and reasonable, with an excellent quality-price ratio.
