El Rincón de Edu is a very peculiar and rustic restaurant serving Canarian food at affordable prices.

Its peculiarity is due to the fact that it is located in the middle of a banana plantation , with outdoor terraces covered with awnings.

It is an animal-friendly place that accepts dogs , and will also be ideal for the little ones .

Their menu is not very extensive as is usually the case in the more traditional and simple guachinches, but their dishes are delicious . You can find starters such as dressed tomatoes, grilled cheese, croquettes, fish churros, limpets, chickpeas, potatoes. As a main fish dish you will find stewed or onion cod. And as for meats , fiesta meat, goat meat, pork steak or rabbit in salmorejo.

Their desserts are homemade , and you will find varieties such as banana dessert, gofio mousse, quesillo, timba (María cookies with white cheese and guava).

Among the drinks, they offer house wine served in bulk , both red and fruity white, from independent producers on the island.

This is a very charming place , very neat and clean , where you will have access to part of the kitchen (you enter the establishment through there) and where the service is excellent.

The prices are cheap and the portions are quite generous.

All of this makes El Rincón de Edu a place that is highly valued by its customers on the internet and a great option to enjoy good Canarian food, at a good price, in a unique atmosphere in one of the northernmost municipalities of Tenerife.
