Guachinche El Cubano is one of the most typical and popular guachinches in Tenerife in recent years.

Located in La Orotava, El Guachinche is in a very beautiful rural setting , surrounded by farms, with large terraces and magnificent views of Teide and the valley.

It is an establishment specialized in grilled meats and Canarian food , while also offering some varieties of typical Cuban dishes , such as arroz congrí, tostones, yuca… Their offer includes ropa vieja, chickpeas, cheeses, eggs a la estampida, croquettes… They have delicious grilled meats, they have meats by weight such as bichillo, chops, Iberian secret, grilled chicken…

Occasionally, depending on the season, they offer new dishes outside of the usual ones on the menu.

They make some homemade desserts that vary and rotate. Among the ones they usually make, you could find flan, coffee cake or Uruguayan polvito.

The house wine is home-grown and served in bulk. They have fruity red and white wines.

In the surrounding area there are plots of land and esplanades that can be used as parking.

As it is a very popular and frequented place , on weekends and holidays there are queues to get a table and be served, so we recommend that you take this into account and go with some patience, without rushing.
