Guachinche El Buchito is a restaurant serving Canarian food and local wine in Santa Úrsula, near the main road.

In the past it was a more traditional guachinche, but it has changed and today it is more like a modern tasca or guachinche.

It is located on the ground floor of a house, at the foot of a somewhat steep road. It consists of a well-decorated interior living-dining room, with good wooden furniture.

It is a small site that does not have private parking, although there are parking spaces on the surrounding streets.

On the menu you can find starters such as grilled cheese with mojo sauce, honey, gofio and nuts; salads, scrambled eggs, chickpeas, croquettes… Delicious rice dishes … and delicious meats such as sirloin steaks, Iberian pork…

They have some well-made and presented homemade desserts, which vary daily.

They have house wine served in bulk, from producers in the northern area, as well as a small but good selection of wines from both the islands and national wines.

It is a family-run business where they provide good service, very attentive, correct and helpful.

The prices are higher than those of a typical guachinche, but in keeping with the category of the place, the quality of the ingredients and the good preparation of its dishes.

If you are looking for an intimate place in the north of the island with well-prepared food and somewhat different dishes to surprise, with good service and reasonable prices, Guachinche El Buchito may be an option to consider.
