Bodegón El Pozo

Bodegón El Pozo is a Canarian food restaurant with the appearance of a traditional guachinche in the La Cruz del Teide neighborhood, in La Orotava.

It is located on the ground floor of a family home. It has an indoor dining room, decorated with rustic and warm touches. The place is comfortable and clean.

Right in front of the restaurant, there is a private parking lot so you can get to the premises without any problem.

The menu is short but very tasty and select. There are options for starters and dishes to share such as cheeses, chickpeas, fabada, peas, dogfish, squid in sauce, etc. You can find meat options such as marinated meat, offal, party meat, sausages, etc. And some other seafood options such as salted fish and cod in onion sauce.

For dessert, they usually offer Canarian timba (crunchy cookies with white cheese and guava jam) and some dessert options and ice cream from well-known brands.

They have house red wine served in bulk, from independent winegrowers in the northern part of the island.

The  atmosphere is very relaxed. The service is also usually good, very friendly and helpful.

The prices are very competitive, the quality of the food is excellent and the portions are generous.

Bodegón El Pozo is a simple establishment serving authentic Canarian food in La Orotava, with easy access to parking, where you can eat delicious food at good prices and with good service.
