Guachinche La Basílica is a modern guachinche located in Candelaria, serving Canarian food and specialising in paellas and rice dishes .

This is an old greenhouse that has been converted and tastefully decorated with modernity and some rustic touches at the same time. The place is spacious, with wooden tables, comfortable chairs, open plan… they have a large private car park for customers with plenty of parking spaces right in front of the premises.

The menu is quite extensive and varied. As starters and dishes to share you can find soup of the day, various types of salads, cheeses, escaldón, ropa vieja, chickpeas, broken eggs, croquettes, fish churros, mushrooms stuffed with almogrote, fiesta meat, goat meat… In fish you have options such as squid, squid, octopus, cod with onions, scallops… In grilled meats sirloin , roast chicken, steak, chop, entrecote… And varied rices , broth, seafood, black rice, with Iberian pork…

They have a wide variety of desserts . They have some homemade ones made by themselves, such as quesillo, cheesecake or Uruguayan polvito. Along with other varieties made by a well-known brand.

They offer wine served in bulk, both red and fruity white from a famous winery in Tenerife.

The portions are quite generous. The prices are moderate and in line with the same.
