Features
Homemade desserts, Homemade wine, TakeawayDescription
Guachinche La Cueva is a Canarian food guachinche with a cozy and picturesque atmosphere , since part of it goes into a cave dug into the rock.
It is located in La Matanza de Acentejo, near the Plaza de San Blas, which is reached by steep streets. There are some parking areas in the area, but they may be insufficient since there are a couple of guachinches in the area.
The menu is varied and the dishes are very well presented . You can find starters such as salad, cheeses, padrón peppers, escaldón, sweet potato salad, croquettes, breaded tomatoes, fish churros, fried eggs, mushrooms. Seafood dishes such as cuttlefish or squid. And meat dishes such as meat in sauce, fiesta meat, sirloin tips, knuckle or fried rabbit.
They offer some homemade desserts depending on the day and season. They are usually very tasty.
The house wine is usually from independent producers in the north, served in bulk, both red and fruity white.
The service is quite good, as is the atmosphere. The portions of the dishes are generous, and the prices are reasonable and adjusted to the quality and quantity of the food.
If you are looking for typical Canarian food at good prices, well presented and in a different atmosphere, Guachinche La Cueva is a very good option in La Matanza and surrounding areas.

Estafadores
