Description

Bodegón Lomo Martín is an establishment serving traditional Canarian food, with home-grown wine, at affordable prices.

It is located on a steep street in the upper part of La Matanza de Acentejo. It does not have a private parking lot, but just above, just 50 meters away, there is a public park with parking spaces.

This is a large dining room on the ground floor of a family home, with wooden tables and chairs and simple decoration. Comfortable, although it should be noted that when the room is full there is poor acoustics and a certain echo.

On their menu we can find starters such as white cheese, escaldón, chickpeas, beans, Russian salad, croquettes, fish churros, squid, dogfish… Fish dishes such as octopus, cod, salted fish… Meats such as steaks, chops, ribs, goat meat, meat with potatoes, meatballs, party meat, offal… And one of their specialties is stuffed vegetables , whether potatoes, onions, carrots, bubangos or peppers.

They make homemade desserts , different varieties of cakes, cheese, depending on the season, which are usually very tasty.

The wine is red and of our own production , quite tasty.

The service and attention in general is good and friendly, and fast. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable, as usual in this type of establishment.

Bodegón Lomo Martín is a good place if you are looking to have a delicious Canarian meal in the north of the island at reasonable prices, especially if you want to enjoy good stuffed dishes.
