Guachinche Las Galanas is a traditional family-run guachinche serving Canarian food, with wine produced in Los Realejos, in the north of the island.
It consists of a family home with a nice and cozy indoor living-dining room, and a wonderful outdoor terrace at the back.
It is easy to get to and locate, as it is located on the main road in the La Montañeta neighborhood, where there are parking areas and spaces.
Their menu is simple and straightforward. They offer fresh cheese, chickpeas, tuna, cod or salted fish, ribs with pineapple and potatoes, and stewed octopus, which is undoubtedly their most popular and in-demand dish.
They make a variety of homemade desserts, such as quesillo, tiramisu or chocolate cake.
The wine they have available is harvested and produced by them, either red or fruity white. Both are very tasty and of very good quality.
The service from the owners, family and employees is quite good, very kind, friendly and approachable.
The prices are very affordable, with a great quality-price ratio since the food is very good and with generous portions.
