Bodegón Fermín

Description

Bodegón Fermín can be considered a traditional, family-run guachinche, as it is a simple and inexpensive establishment serving Canarian food and local wine.

It is located on the General Northern Highway, in the town of Guamasa, belonging to the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna.

It is a small place with a bar and an indoor dining room, where a few dishes of typical Canarian home-cooked food are served.

There is no private parking, but there are some public spaces in front of the premises, as well as in the surrounding streets.

Among its dishes you can find chickpeas, fabada, dogfish, squid in sauce, dogfish, salted fish, octopus, goat meat and fiesta meat, as well as wrinkled potatoes.

They make some homemade desserts , such as Uruguayan polvito, pineapple cake, some flan…

They have fruity red and white wines from the house , from independent producers and winegrowers on the island. They are usually very tasty.

The prices are very cheap, but that doesn’t mean that the food is not exquisite and the portions are well stocked.

The service is good and friendly, kind and welcoming, like in a good family-run village bar.

If you like the more traditional, familiar and simple guachinches, with little food on offer but delicious, with tasty and homemade dishes, with good wine and at very cheap prices, you will love Bodegón Fermín.
