Restaurante 10 años is a family-run and affordable establishment specialising in fish in La Matanza de Acentejo.

It is located on a narrow street with a slight slope, so parking in the area can be a bit complicated, as there is no private parking.

It consists of a large, simple room with wooden tables and chairs.

On their menu you can find a wide variety of dishes and seafood. You can find starters such as cheeses, escaldón, salad, croquettes, fish churros, mushrooms, fabada, ropa vieja… They offer some meat dishes such as sirloin steaks. And main fish dishes such as cod, grouper, octopus, cuttlefish, fish skewers, squid, and fresh fish of the day that you can select from a display.

They make homemade desserts , such as cookie cake, Uruguayan polvito, quesillo… as well as ice cream.

They offer house wine , both red and fruity white, from independent winegrowers. They also have 3 or 4 types of bottles from wineries on the island and national ones.

The prices are adjusted in relation to the quantity of food served in their portions , but if we take into account the quality of the product, the quality-price ratio gains many points.

The service provided by the staff is good. However, it is often busy on holidays and weekends, so you will need to be patient.

If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive place to serve quality fish and seafood, this Restaurante 10 años is one of the best options in the north of the island.
