Restaurante Casa Juan is a popular establishment serving Canarian food and grilled meats in the upper part of Candelaria.

It is located on the ground floor of a family home, in an old converted garage. Going down the access ramp, we find a covered space with several tables. It also has another more conventional dining room with large windows and good views.

Attached to the house is a private parking area exclusively for its clients.

Their menu is extensive and varied. On it we can find starters such as soup and stew, cheeses, pork rinds, escaldón, chickpeas, grilled mushrooms, Padrón peppers, sausages, chistorras and black pudding… Fish dishes such as pollock fillet, salted fish… Meat dishes such as offal, goat meat, pork in sauce or fried… And grilled meats such as steaks, chops, chicken, rabbit, Iberian pork, sirloin, grilled meats…

They make homemade desserts , such as quesillo, Uruguayan polvito, coffee cake, chocolate cake…

They have house wine , both red and fruity white, from independent winegrowers on the island. Very tasty.

The service is quite good, as well as the prices , which are very affordable. The portions are adequate, as is the taste and quality of the food.

It tends to get quite crowded on weekends and holidays. They accept reservations , which we recommend doing.

The Casa Juan Restaurant is an affordable place with parking, with a wide variety of dishes and delicious grilled meats, reasons that make it a popular place in the area and usually chosen to enjoy a good Canarian meal.
