Restaurante Grill El Palmero is an establishment specialising in meats, offering Canarian food, traditional desserts and wines from the islands, in the town of Maspalomas, municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
It is located inside a residential area, in the heart of Maspalomas. Access is easy, and although there is no private parking, there are enough parking spaces in the surrounding avenues and streets.
The premises consist of a large , bright dining room with large windows overlooking the pedestrian streets of the residential area in which it is located. It also has an outdoor terrace where dogs are allowed .
Their menu is very varied and extensive. You can find starters and dishes to share such as salads, cheeses, pork rinds, soup, garlic prawns, blood sausages, chorizos, grilled sausages… Fish options such as Roman-style squid, and sometimes octopus or tuna salad. Delicious meats such as beef steak, steaks, Uruguayan entrecote, sirloins, chicken, escalope, ribs, pork chops… They also offer several varieties of pizza .
Their mojos and sauces are highly recommended, with sweet or spicy mojo palmero, green mojo, mushroom sauce, pepper, aioli…
The desserts are homemade and delicious. They are served in glasses and have traditional Canarian varieties such as Bienmesabe, Príncipe Alberto, Polvito Palmero, Merienda Canaria… as well as lemon cream, orange cream and chocolate cream…
They offer good selections of bottles of wine from both La Palma and other islands, which you can also taste by the glass.
The atmosphere is fantastic, as is the attention and treatment of the waiters.
The portions are adequate, the prices are reasonable and the preparation of the food is quite good.
Whether for lunch or dinner, the El Palmero Grill Restaurant is an excellent place for its wide variety of well-prepared food, at affordable prices, good service and atmosphere, easy access, delicious desserts and mojos… a great place to enjoy a good meal with family, as a couple or with friends.
