Description

Guachinche Romance is a traditional guachinche with a very special charm, serving authentic Canarian food and grilled meats , located in the upper part of La Orotava, in the Barroso neighborhood.

It is a very cosy and beautiful place, very well decorated , with different atmospheres. It has a traditional shop , small covered rooms in a traditional Canarian house, and a magnificent garden with various areas and tables arranged outdoors. Everything is decorated with great taste, in the pure style of the most traditional guachinche.

Their food is simply spectacular . Their menu offers dishes to share and starters such as soup, cheeses, chickpeas, peppers, fried eggplant with honey, stuffed mushrooms, various croquettes, battered squid… And delicious grilled meats such as pork knuckle, Iberian pork, steaks, rabbit, chicken skewers, mixed sausages…

Their homemade desserts are also very tasty. They make varieties daily such as Uruguayan polvito, house dessert, quesillo, red fruit tart…

The wine is home-grown and served in bulk. They have both fruity white and red wines. Try them because they are usually excellent.

It is not surprising that Guachinche Romance has become so popular in recent times , as in addition to its delicious food, which also has generous portions and fairly reasonable prices, we must add the good service, the idyllic setting, the decoration, its magnificent terrace…

A charming guachinche , a 10/10 place in the north of Tenerife to enjoy an exceptional meal as a couple, with family or friends.
