Guachinche El Refugio is a traditional , simple and welcoming guachinche with a rustic atmosphere located in La Victoria de Acentejo, in the north of Tenerife.

This is an establishment specialising in grilled meats and Canarian food , which has a cosy covered outdoor terrace and a dining room located inside a Canarian house.

It is located on a rather narrow street, but fortunately they have a small private parking lot for their customers.

They make some homemade desserts , among which the frangollo stands out, among other cakes and desserts.

They have home-grown red wine , and also a fruity white wine from the house served in bulk. Both are usually very good and are highly recommended by their customers.

The service is quite good, as is the quality of the food, the generosity of the portions and their price .
