Guachinche Casa Ayo

Description

Guachinche Casa Ayo is a traditional, family-run guachinche located on the ground floor of a single-family home in the Ravelo neighborhood of El Sauzal.

A typical Canarian food house , simple, very tasty, made with care and with quality local products, just as our grandparents and ancestors made it.

On the menu we find typical dishes that are ideal as starters or to share, such as soup, salad, potato salad, escaldón, chickpeas, grilled cheese, mushrooms, croquettes, fish churros, fried eggs, limpets… Main dishes such as fiesta meat, goat meat, chicken curry, sirloin, cod with onions, sweet potato timbale with cod… A good number of options, both meat and fish.

Casa Ayo’s desserts are homemade. There is not a great variety, but they make some sweet Canarian delicacy every day to finish off a good meal, such as quesillo.

They have house wine served in bulk, not produced by them, but from producers in the area and in the north of Tenerife. Very good, as their customers attest.

In front of the lounge there is a small patio where some tables have been set up as an outside terrace.

They do not have private parking, but there are parking spaces right in front of the establishment and in the surrounding area, where parking is not very difficult.

At Guachinche Casa Ayo you will be treated in a friendly and cordial manner by the owners . They will serve you their delicious food with generous portions , and when they bring you the bill you will be surprised by the low prices.
