La Bodega de Don Tomás is a small, traditional and authentic guachinche, family-run, picturesque and rustic, in the El Cantillo neighborhood in the municipality of Tacoronte.

It basically consists of an old wine press converted into a dining room, very cosy, tastefully decorated and full of details, utensils and antique objects, etc. They also have a small outdoor terrace with some additional tables.

They do not have private parking, but there are several parking spaces in the area and it is not particularly difficult to park in the surrounding area.

The food they prepare varies according to the season, products and raw materials, but they usually offer dishes such as cheeses and sausages, escaldón, croquettes, fish churros, chickpeas, ribs with potatoes and pineapple, fiesta meat, and avocado omelette, one of their specialties. All their dishes are very rich, very tasty and well cooked.

They don’t have desserts. But they do serve coffee served in an Italian coffee maker accompanied by rosquetes.

They make their own wine, as well as homemade liquors of various types that can be tasted.

The guachinche is usually open for 5 or 6 months a year. They close as soon as they run out of wine, reopening as soon as the wine from the next harvest is available.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. They will make you feel at home, encouraging you to sit back, relax, enjoy the surroundings and their fabulous food and drinks.

The establishment has a capacity of about 25 people, and you can call to reserve a table or reserve the entire establishment for your events, such as birthdays, stalls and various celebrations…

La Bodega de Don Tomás is a great place if you are looking for a family-run place with soul, picturesque and traditional, where you can eat delicious food, good wines and homemade liquors, with good prices and great service.
