Restaurante El Pollito is a restaurant specialising in home-cooked Canarian food, located in the El Sobradillo neighbourhood of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The restaurant has spacious lounges and dining rooms with rustic and cozy decor. You can eat in a spacious covered patio or on the second floor of the restaurant.

Among its offer we find typical dishes of Canarian cuisine , such as escaldón, fried eggs, chickpeas, ropa vieja, cheeses with mojo, mushrooms stuffed with almogrote, squid in sauce… and others such as salads, fish churros, varieties of croquettes…

However, the restaurant stands out for its variety of grilled meats , such as grilled chicken, steaks (pork and beef), chops, sausages, blood sausage, beef tenderloin, roast ribs…

They have house red wine , not produced by them, but from producers in the north of Tenerife. They also have wine from wineries on the island.

As for desserts, you can find homemade desserts made on the day, such as grandma’s cake or Uruguayan polvito. You can also opt for a dessert from a well-known brand on the island.

The food portions are quite good, and the prices, although perhaps slightly higher than those of a traditional guachinche, are quite affordable.

The service is generally quite good and they are fast in the service. However, we must take into account that as it is a high-capacity establishment, if the premises are full, the service may take a little longer and we may have to be patient.

The establishment does not have its own parking, but parking in the area is not difficult.
