Guachinche El Cañonazo is a restaurant that serves traditional Canarian food along with other more modern dishes based on Canarian gastronomy and grilled meats , so we can consider it a modern guachinche .

It is located in the El Tablero neighborhood, an area on the outskirts of the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It has a large private parking lot for the convenience of its clients.

It is a very popular place in the area, quite busy at peak times, both for dinner and lunch, and perhaps a bit noisy because of this.

On their extensive menu we find a wide variety of starters and dishes to share , such as cheeses, salads and dressed tomatoes, soups and stews, various croquettes, fish churros, breaded mushrooms, fried eggs, party meat or goat meat. In terms of fish , options such as squid in sauce, squid, grilled cuttlefish, stewed or fried octopus… A delicious rice broth , and great grilled meats to choose from, such as roast chicken, steaks, entrecote, sirloin, knuckle, T-bone steaks, Tomahawk, top sirloin…

The desserts are homemade and delicious. Apart from the popular quesillo and tarta de la abuela, you can find very unique creations such as their cheesecake or the creamy yogurt with red fruits.

As for wines , they offer white and dry wine in bulk from a renowned winery on the island. They also offer red wines and other varieties from national wineries served by the glass or by the bottle.

Guachinche El Cañonazo is a cozy place, ideal for couples and groups of friends, for a good lunch or dinner near the metropolitan area.
