La Tasquita de Adeje is a small family-run establishment serving Canarian cuisine in the heart of the town of Adeje.

It’s located on the ground floor of a small building in the center of town. To access it, you’ll have to climb a small flight of stairs, as it’s not accessible.

It has a very pleasant covered outdoor terrace and a few wooden tables arranged inside, giving it the appearance of a traditional tavern or bar.

There is no private parking available for guests. It is located on a street with public parking spaces, but finding a spot nearby can be difficult at certain times of the day.

Their menu isn’t overly extensive, but it rotates and varies according to the variety and seasonal produce. You can usually find starters and sharing dishes such as cheeses, cured meats, garlic shrimp, Russian salad, scrambled eggs, croquettes, and so on. Main dishes include meat in sauce, salted fish, garlic chicken, and grilled meats like sirloin, chops, or secret meat.

They often make one or two varieties of homemade desserts, such as cheesecake, grandma’s cake…

As for wines, they have house red wine served in bulk, as well as a good selection of bottles of island and national wines.

The service is magnificent; they are very friendly and professional. They make excellent recommendations, both for food and wine.

The prices of their dishes are quite affordable, the portions are well-stocked, and the food is well-presented and prepared.

If you’re in the Adeje area and fancy some good, home-cooked food, La Tasquita de Adeje is a great place that offers good prices, excellent food, and excellent service, all in a quiet, clean setting where you can enjoy Canarian cuisine.
