La Roca Restaurant is an establishment with the appearance of a traditional guachinche, serving homemade Canarian food , in the Tíncer neighborhood in the island’s capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

It is located on the ground floor of a small 2-storey house and consists of a small interior living-dining room, which is a bit noisy when full. There are parking spaces on the public road in the surrounding area, and it is not very difficult to find a parking space.

On the menu you can find starters and dishes to share such as fresh or grilled cheese, dressed tomatoes, salad, potato salad, croquettes, chickpeas, stuffed or breaded mushrooms, sweet potato with almogrote sauce, scrambled eggs… Fish dishes such as cuttlefish, cuttlefish, gueldes, squid or tuna in mojo sauce. And meat dishes such as fiesta meat, goat meat, composite meat, pork sirloin and steak, roast chicken or chicken with garlic…

For dessert they offer ice cream and a variety of desserts such as Uruguayan polvito, cakes and mousses from well-known brands from the island.

They offer house red wine , served in bulk, from independent winegrowers in the northern part of the island.

The service from the staff is good, as are the prices , quite reasonable, in relation to the quality of the food and the quantity served in the portions .

La Roca Restaurant is definitely a good neighborhood bar that offers delicious Canarian food at good prices, perfect if you want to enjoy a guachinche in the metropolitan area.
