El Rancho de Nino

El Rancho de Nino is a very popular establishment in the south of the island where you can enjoy traditional Canarian food  and grilled meats at very affordable prices.

Located near Guargacho, the Guachinche belongs to the municipality of Arona. It is a large building with high ceilings and gardens and terraces around it where you can also eat, or even have a snack or a few drinks before or after your meal.

On some of their terraces they have large cages with birds , fowl and some farm animals that will delight the little ones.

It is a very busy and popular place , where you will have to wait in line and get a number to take your turn. Luckily, they are very well organized , the staff is efficient and friendly, and they have a large private parking lot for their customers.

In their offer we can find starters such as soup, stew, wrinkled potatoes, yuca, cheeses, salad, chickpeas, fabada, escaldón, paella, blood sausages and sausages, even spaghetti bolognese and pizzas for the little ones. In meats they offer fiesta meat, goat meat, ribs with pineapple and potatoes, Canarian stew, and grilled meats such as rabbit, ribs, chops and T-bone steaks, sirloins, steaks, t-bone, grilled meat… and some varieties of fish such as cuttlefish, tuna with mojo, fish with onions or stewed fish.

As you can see, there is a wide variety to choose from, always with relatively large portions and quite good prices for the quantity and quality of the food they serve.

They also have a good selection of desserts. You will find some homemade desserts such as quesillo, tiramisu, various types of flan, mousse… ice cream balls and other types of desserts from well-known brands.

They have house wine served in bulk, both red and white.

If you want to eat well, cheaply, in a place with good weather, with a terrace and ideal for children, Rancho de Nino is one of the best options in the south of Tenerife. And of course also great for couples, large groups, families and friends.
