At Guachinche Ramón you can experience visiting and eating in an authentic traditional guachinche . A family garage converted into a dining room, where they offer magnificent home-grown wine and very tasty dishes from Canarian cuisine .

It is located in La Orotava , on a small paved road close to the Camino los Gómez and other emblematic guachinches in the north of the island. Surrounded by vineyards , this family garage converted into a traditional guachinche has a few parking spaces for its customers.

As in any self-respecting classic guachinche, the menu and the range of dishes is not very extensive, varying according to the season and the local products of the moment. But yes, they are all delicious and cooked with great care, very tasty. Worthy of note are the octopus and stewed tuna, as well as the fried rabbit, its meatballs, almogrotes and cheeses.

They also usually make dishes like croquettes, fish churros, roasted leg, chickpeas, wrinkled potatoes… and for dessert a surprise from yesteryear: cookie timbas filled with white cheese and guava jam. You won’t want any other dessert, but you’ll definitely want more!

As for the house wine , they only have red wine , from their own harvest. However, most clients and diners do not hesitate to rate it as excellent, out of 10!

Guachinche Ramón also has an outdoor terrace with tables where you can enjoy magnificent views and stunning sunsets. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff is very friendly and approachable with all the customers. You will feel at home… or better.

This establishment has everything that a traditional guachinche can offer: good prices, very tasty typical food, magnificent wine and excellent service.
