Guachinche La Gorgolana is a traditional family – run guachinche serving Canarian food and grilled meats in Tacoronte.

It is an establishment that has an indoor dining room and an outdoor terrace , both with a cozy and simple atmosphere , with tables made from wooden barrels.

It is located on Las Toscas Street, halfway between Tacoronte and El Sauzal, below the northern highway, not far from areas such as the La Garañona viewpoint.

It has private parking for its clients, although nearby you will also find areas to park on the street itself.

The menu is very brief, as is the case in the most traditional guachinches. The portions are adequate and the prices are very affordable. You can find dishes such as chickpeas, potato salad, meat in sauce, stewed cod or pork tenderloin.

For dessert , they usually make a homemade banana dessert with yogurt, honey and cinnamon that is delicious, as well as timbas (cookies with cheese and guava jam).

The wine is home-grown , red and generally quite tasty.

It should be noted that the guachinche usually closes when they run out of wine, until they have new wine from the next harvest.

The treatment and the atmosphere are very familiar and homely. The owners will make you feel at home.

If you are looking for a simple and traditional guachinche, like the ones from before, Guachinche La Gorgolana is a very good option, as it is easy to get to, easy to park, good food, good wine, excellent service and very affordable prices.
