Description

Guachinche Los Felipes is a traditional guachinche with typical Canarian food and good wine produced in La Victoria de Acentejo.

It consists of a simple but cozy living-dining room on the ground floor of a family home.

Their food offer is tasty and simple at the same time. You can find dishes of fresh cheese, escaldón, chickpeas, fabada, broken eggs, fried sardines, yellow rice, stewed octopus, fiesta meat… and fried rabbit , one of their most popular dishes and best valued by their customers.

They usually have few desserts , but they are homemade . You can choose the traditional timba (María cookies with white cheese and guava jam), or coffee cake, chocolate dessert… all very delicious.

The red wine is produced in-house . It is usually very tasty. And as with the more traditional guachinches, they usually close the establishment as soon as they run out of wine, until they have the next harvest.

The prices are very cheap and the portions are considerable.

The service is pretty good, and the place is generally clean and welcoming.

If you fancy a traditional guachinche like those used to be in the north of the island, with good home-grown wine, very tasty and cheap food, and good service, Guachinche Los Felipes is a great alternative.
