Guachinche El Marchante is a modern guachinche in the town of  La Esperanza, belonging to the municipality of El Rosario.

The premises are located close to the main road, just as you enter the centre of La Esperanza, surrounded by land and cultivated areas.

It consists of an indoor dining room, clean and spacious, well decorated, with a somewhat rustic appearance and wooden furniture. It also has a small covered outdoor terrace with a few tables if the weather is good.

Right next door there is a vacant lot with ample parking space.

The menu begins with a selection of starters and dishes to share with a variety of mushrooms, croquettes, as well as salads, escaldón, grilled or fresh cheese, chickpeas, fried eggs… For meat lovers , they have steaks, sirloins, Iberian secret, party meat, roast chicken, chistorras, ribs, barbecue… And for those who prefer the flavors of the sea, they offer options such as cod in onions or fish churros.

They usually offer some typical varieties of homemade desserts, such as Uruguayan polvito, flan, different types of mousse…

They offer fruity red and white wine in bulk from island wineries such as Vidueño.

The prices are quite acceptable, as well as the quality of the food and the quantity served in its portions.

The staff stands out for their good attention and service, with speed and friendliness.
