Description

Guachinche El Divorcio is a wonderful traditional guachinche serving typical Canarian home-cooked food in the centre of La Orotava.

It is located next to Avenida Mercedes Pinto de Armas, where there are a large number of public parking spaces on both sides.

Entering through a corridor of a building next to this avenue, you will find this guachinche that has both a very picturesque and cozy dining room , very well decorated, as well as a wonderful outdoor terrace .

Their menu offers delicious dishes typical of Canarian cuisine such as fresh or grilled cheese, dressed tomatoes, escaldón, chickpeas, fish croquettes and churros, offal, eggs with popcorn, dogfish, garlic chicken, fiesta meat, salted fish…

They do not offer any type of dessert or coffee.

The wine is home-grown, red. Very tasty. They usually close the guachinche when they run out, opening it again when they have new wine from the next harvest.

It is a very cozy, rustic, traditional place, where they provide a very good and friendly informal service, where the food is very tasty, at very reasonable prices and with considerable portions.

It is not at all difficult to get to, so it is a great place to enjoy good Canarian food and excellent wine.
