Guachinche Abreu

Guachinche Abreu is a traditional Canarian restaurant located in the town of Guía de Isora, in the south of Tenerife.

It is a family business run by Abreu, the owner himself.

It is located near the centre of Guía de Isora, just a few kilometres from the southern motorway, in a quiet area surrounded by houses and single-family homes. The guachinche occupies the garage space of the house in which it is located.

There is no private parking, but there are enough parking spaces nearby, making it relatively easy to park.

As a true guachinche, its menu is simple and somewhat austere, but very tasty. You can order plates and portions of fresh or grilled cheese, Padrón peppers, croquettes, chickpeas, eggs with a bang, its wonderful goat meat and some grilled meats.

They offer homemade desserts whose preparation changes depending on the day, season, availability of products… The quesillo is especially good, although they also make homemade cakes.

They offer home-grown white wine that has won several trophies, as you can see on the shelves in the establishment.

The portions are generous and the quality of the food stands out for its authenticity and home-made flavour. The prices are affordable, offering excellent value for money.

Abreu is a good host, friendly and kind, he treats those who visit his house well, keeping it clean and tidy.
