The Bar Restaurante El Mantillo, also known as “Los Chochos”, is an affordable restaurant serving Canarian food in the heart of Agulo, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.

It is a traditional house near the main road that has a cozy indoor dining room with wooden furniture, and a charming outdoor terrace with some tables.

It does not have private parking and finding a parking spot in the area can be a bit complicated, as many streets in the town do not have parking areas.

On their menu you can find starters such as grilled cheese, almogrote, soup, watercress stew, Russian salad, croquettes, chickpeas, Spanish omelette or spinach omelette… Fish dishes such as tuna with mojo, squid in sauce, cod with onions, fried fish, tuna empanadillas… Meat dishes such as meatballs, fiesta meat, goat meat, grilled chicken breast…

They have delicious homemade desserts, such as roasted milk or frangollo, among others.

They offer house red wine served in bulk, from independent winegrowers on the island.

The service of the waitress and the staff in general is friendly and close.

The prices are cheap, reasonable, which makes the quality-price ratio great.

All this makes El Bar Restaurante El Mantillo a great place to enjoy a good meal at a good price, with good service in a picturesque and wonderful town.
