The Cachimba Bar Restaurant is a popular family restaurant specialising in Canarian fish dishes in the centre of La Orotava.

This is a well-located family home with land where they have set up a private parking lot for clients and a small covered outdoor terrace. All of this is easily accessible, very close to the Paseo de las Araucarias. There are also several public parking areas in the surrounding area.

Their menu is not very extensive, but it is well focused and specialised in a few very tasty dishes. As a starter, apart from the bread service, they usually serve mojos and gofio. You can order dishes such as salads with avocado, fried chicharros, papas arrugadas, squid in sauce, stewed octopus, mackerel, sardines, stewed cod…

For dessert they offer ice cream and some varieties of well-known brands from the island.

They have house wine served in bulk, usually red, from producers in the north of the island.

The service is good and the prices are quite reasonable.

The Cachimba Bar Restaurant is a simple place with affordable prices, where you will be well served, ideal if you are looking for dishes such as pork rinds, octopus, sardines or stewed cod. Very accessible and easy to get to.
