Guachinche El Aguacatero de Doña Chana is a traditional guachinche of Canarian food and home-grown wine from the municipality of La Orotava.
The establishment has a large indoor dining room with wooden furniture. It has an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy your meal with your pet without any problems. Its large avocado tree provides shade for the tables. It is the soul of the place.
There is no private parking for its clients, however there are many parking spaces on public roads nearby, which facilitates the arrival of clients and ensures a comfortable visit.
The menu is not very extensive, but it offers a good representation of Canarian food. It varies according to products and season. You can order starters and dishes to share such as cheese, almogrote, croquettes, octopus salad, stuffed mushrooms, fabada, limpets, sweet potato timbale… Fish options such as bonito with onions, sardines or horse mackerel, octopus… And meat dishes such as ribs with pineapple, fiesta meat, chicken in sauce…
To end your meal, you can enjoy some of their homemade desserts, such as Uruguayan polvito, quesillo, mousse and other varieties.
As for wines, they have house wine served in bulk, from their own harvest, in varieties such as red, rosé, dry white and fruity white.

Trato pésimo
No llegamos a comer, después de esperar más de 45 minutos y ver como adelantaban mesa de dos por no mover mesas (había espacio, éramos 4, al librarse una de tres le dijimos al camarero que nos acomodarse en ella, nos ignoró y se la dió a otra pareja. Mi cuñado le pidió la hoja de reclamación a un señor que se identificó como el dueño, y de malos modos, faltando al respeto y con mucha agresividad negó tener dicho documento, diciendo además que está era su negocio y…, salió la cocinera, intentó calmarlo y logró apartarlo, chapó por dicha señora…, al ver como estaba la situación y para evitar males mayores decidimos marcharnos. Chapó por la cocinera y una camarera que nos atendió en la salida. Nos marchamos a otro guachinche que nos atendieron de maravilla
