Guachinche El Molinero is a traditional, family-run and simple guachinche serving Canarian food, with home-grown wine in the town of La Perdoma, in the municipality of La Orotava.
This small guachinche has a cozy and rustic dining room , private parking for its clients next to the establishment, and a small outdoor terrace .
Their food offer is simple, tasty, homemade and with little variety as it happens in the most traditional guachinches. So you can taste bread with chorizo, cheese, escaldón, fried sardines, fabada, cod with onions, fiesta meat, ribs with pineapple and potatoes, fried rabbit…
It does not offer desserts, ice cream or coffee.
Their wine is excellent, home-grown red wine , served in bulk. They have cartons available if you want to buy wine and take it home.
When they run out of wine, they close the establishment until they have new wine from the next harvest.
The service provided by the owners is great, they are very friendly and kind.
The prices are very affordable, the food is delicious and the portions are considerable. Excellent value for money.
